MLB Needs to Use Instant Replay

In the past few weeks, it's become increasing apparent that baseball needs an instant replay system.
- In a Philadelphia Phillies game, a ball went off the foul pole, but was called foul. Instant replay could have made the right call.
- In the Detroit-Yankees series, A-Rod appeared to have tagged a runner at 3rd base. The runner was called safe.
- In the same series, a ball hit by the Tigers seemed to hit the white foul line. However, the ball was called foul.
In all three of these instances, instant replay would have helped make the correct call. Yet, baseball seems to shy away from it. Fortunately for you AGMers, I have a propsal to share.
Throughout the game, the managers would be able to challenge a call. They get just one. As long as the managers are right, they keep their challenge. Get it wrong, they lose it for the rest of the game. Managers would have until the next pitch to challenge. Also, in cases where the umpires need to group up to decide on a call, instant replay will be used immediately. Any call other than balls and strikes would be reviewable. Of course, this is all just a pipe dream, as baseball seems to cling to tradition a bit much.
