I was in Shoppers Drug Mart last night and, of course, wandered first to the magazine area. While looking for anything b-ball related, I saw the latest MAD Magazine. On the cover: Kobe Bryant getting “Reggie Evan’d” (sort of) by Alfred E. Neuman.
The cover article is “NBA from A to Z”. It’s got some cool caricatures of the stars, including a great one of our favorite, Sam Cassell. You can download a preview from their website by clicking here [1].
I thought about buying a copy for myself, but then I saw the price: $5.50, a little steep for a comic book. As Latrell Sprewell once said, “I’ve got my family to feed.”
