Lynn Hoyem (Lynn Douglas Hoyem) was born on June 27, 1939 in Fargo, North Dakota. After going to high school at Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA), Hoyem attended California State University, Long Beach and El Camino JC. Hoyem made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 6 year career.
