Born on October 10, 1974 in Columbus, Mississippi, Luther Hackman (Luther Gean Hackman) played for the Colorado Rockies, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres over the course of his 5 year career. Hackman broke into the bigs on September 1, 1999 with the Colorado Rockies, and put up a 4.11 ERA in 81 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
