Young defensive tackle who has yet to see any playing time...Redshirted as a freshman in 2005 and did not play in 2006...Widebody interior lineman who can clog the middle but also put pressure on opposing quarterbacks...Strong, agile and quick off the ball...Late developing player who is just starting to learn the nuances of defensive line play...Criminology major.

2006 (FRESHMAN): Did not see any action.

2005 (REDSHIRT): Redshirted as a freshman, but played as a member of the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was going to enroll at Division I-AA Ursinis College (Pa.) when he was accepted at The Hun School, a preparatory academy in Princeton, N.J....Also started on the offensive line as a guard...As a senior, finished with 75 tackles, 10 sacks and five forced fumbles...As a junior, made more than 70 tackles and eight sacks...Rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com as a prep school player...Chose Miami over Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Michigan State, Wake Forest and Florida...Coached by Dave Dudeck.
