Luis Leal

Born on March 21, 1957 in Barquisimeto, Lara (Venezuela), Luis Leal (Luis Enrique (Alvarado) Leal) played for the Toronto Blue Jays for his entire 6 year career. Leal broke into the bigs on May 25, 1980 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and put up a 4.53 ERA in 59.2 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Luis Leal's best season was 1984, when he posted a 3.89 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 134 batters.
