Born on June 19, 1923 in Havana, Cuba, Luis Aloma (Luis (Barba) Aloma) played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 4 year career. Aloma broke into the bigs on April 19, 1950 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 3.80 ERA in 87.2 innings pitched in 1950, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Luis Aloma's best season was 1951, when he posted a 1.82 ERA.
