Loyd Phillips (Loyd Phillips) was born on May 2, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Longview (TX), Phillips attended the University of Arkansas. Phillips made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Loyd Phillips's best year.
