Loyd Lowe (Loyd Alvie Lowe) was born on December 18, 1928 in Prairie Hill, Texas. After going to high school at Mat (TX), Lowe attended the University of North Texas. Lowe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1953 was Loyd Lowe's best year.
