Louis Wright (Louis Donnel Wright) was born on January 31, 1953 in Gilmer, Texas. After going to high school at Bakersfield (CA), Wright attended Arizona State University, Bakersfield JC and San Jose State University. Wright made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was Louis Wright's best year, as he picked off 6 passes.
