Louis Mackey (Louis Mackey) was born on December 29, 1977 in Richmond, California. After going to high school at Albany (CA) and Richmond (CA), Mackey attended Gavilan College and the University of Akron. Mackey made his professional debut in the NFL in 2001 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 2 year NFL career.

He finished the season on the developmental roster, but played in the playoffs and in the Grey Cup.

He played 15 games… He made nine tackles in solo and recovered a fumble.
2000:
He played one game with the Cowboys.

In 2000, he recorded 67 tackles… He registered eight tackles for losses of 28 yards, one sack, two knockdowns and forced one fumble in 10 games… He didn’t play in 1999… In 10 games in 1998, he made 33 tackles, three tackles for losses of five yards, foced one fumble and recovered one.
Personal:
He studied early child development at Gallivan College before moving on to the Akron to study communications... While with the Cowboys, he was heavily involved in community activities... Louis and his family run the Mackey Foundation, which helps local schools and underprivileged families in the Southeast Texas region... He has a son, Logan Cameron, born in November of 2004.
