Louie Pessolano (Louis Carl Pessolano) was born on February 23, 1907 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Kensington (PA), Pessolano attended Villanova University. Pessolano made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Staten Island Stapletons for his entire 1 year career.
