Louie Kolls (Louis C. Kolls) was born on December 15, 1892 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Kolls attended St. Ambrose University. Kolls made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Hammond Pros. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Hammond Pros the entire time. Kolls also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Rock Island Independents and New York Yankees over the course of his 5 year NFL career.Kolls also played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Rock Island Independents the entire time.
