Lou Usher

Lou Usher (Louis Childs Usher) was born on June 27, 1897 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Hyde Park (Chicago, IL), Usher attended Syracuse University and the University of Detroit Mercy. Usher made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time. Usher also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Hammond Pros and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
