Lou Tomasetti (Louis Vincent Tomasetti) was born on January 8, 1916 in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Old Forge (PA), Tomasetti attended Bucknell University. Tomasetti made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Tomasetti also played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.

Most people believe that 1948 was Lou Tomasetti's best year, as he ran for 716 yards and ran in 7 TDs.
