Lou Palatella (Louis Palatella) was born on July 28, 1933 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Vandergrift (PA), Palatella attended the University of Pittsburgh. Palatella made his professional debut in the NFL in 1955 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1957 was Lou Palatella's best year.
