Lou Mahrt (Louis Richard Mahrt) was born on July 30, 1904 in , FL. After going to high school at University of Dayton Prep (Dayton, OH), Mahrt attended the University of Dayton. Mahrt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 2 year career.
