Lou Levanti (Louis Michael Levanti) was born on April 4, 1923 in West Frankfort, Illinois. After going to high school at West Frankfort (IL), Levanti attended the University of Illinois. Levanti made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
