Lou Legett (Louis Alfred Legett) was born on June 1, 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He made his Major League debut on May 8, 1929 for the Boston Braves. Legett played for the Boston Braves and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
