Lou Knerr

Born on August 21, 1921 in Denver, Pennsylvania, Lou Knerr (Wallace Luther Knerr) played for the Philadelphia Athletics and Washington Senators over the course of his 3 year career. Knerr broke into the bigs on April 17, 1945 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and put up a 4.22 ERA in 130 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
