Born on March 15, 1907 in Alma, Missouri, Lou Fette (Louis Henry William Fette) played for the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 5 year career. Fette broke into the bigs on April 26, 1937 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 2.88 ERA in 259 innings pitched in 1937, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Lou Fette's best season was 1937, when he posted a 2.88 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 70 batters.
