Lou Ferry (Louis Anthony Ferry, Jr.) was born on December 1, 1927 in Chester, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Chester (PA), Ferry attended Villanova University. Ferry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cardinals and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was Lou Ferry's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
