Lou DeFilippo (Louis Phillip DeFilippo) was born on August 28, 1916 in East Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), DeFilippo attended Fordham University. DeFilippo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 4 year career.
