Lou Berberet

Lou Berberet (Louis Joseph Berberet) was born on November 20, 1929 in Long Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1954 for the New York Yankees. In 1956, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 4 home runs and 27 RBI. Berberet played for the New York Yankees, Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 7 year career.
