Lou Abbruzzi (Louis John Abbruzzi) was born on August 3, 1917 in Warren, Rhode Island. After going to high school at Warren (RI), Abbruzzi attended the University of Rhode Island. Abbruzzi made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 1 year career.
