Los Angeles Angels Schedule/Results
Cleveland Indians Schedule/Results

With poor weather in Cleveland such that the entire Seattle - Cleveland series was canceled, the Angels - Indians series was moved to Milwaukee. While this was considered neutral ground, the Tribe behind C.C. Sabathia (2-0) took advantage of a poor outing by Ervin Santana (1-1) to jump to a 7-3 lead by the 5th. The Angels mounted a comeback, but saw it die as Kelly Shoppach threw out Erick Aybar to end the ninth.

The first home run came off of Kelly Shoppach's bat in his first AB of the season. He took a 2-2 pitch over the right-center wall in the second. The second homer came in the 3rd, when Casey Blake launched a solo shot. Other Indian offensive highlights include a 2-4 night by third baseman Andy Marte who knocked in 3 with 2 doubles. David Dellucci and Travis Hafner both went 2-4 on the night, but Hafner struck out twice in the effort.

On the Angels side, Howie Kendrick was on fire, going 4-4 with 3 runs, but he was left holding the bat in the 9th as Aybar was caught stealing 2nd.
