With poor weather in Cleveland such that the entire Seattle - Cleveland series was canceled, the Angels - Indians series was moved to Milwaukee. While this was considered neutral ground, the Tribe behind C.C. Sabathia (2-0) took advantage of a poor outing by Ervin Santana (1-1) to jump to a 7-3 lead by the 5th. The Angels mounted a comeback, but saw it die as Kelly Shoppach threw out Erick Aybar to end the ninth.
