Lonnie Warwick (Lonnie Preston Warwick) was born on February 26, 1942 in Raleigh, West Virginia. After going to high school at Mount Hope (WV), Warwick attended Tennessee Institute of Technology and the University of Tennessee. Warwick made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Lonnie Warwick's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
