Lokerroom:HBVGamer's NFL Rankings Hits Deadspin
I suppose congratulations are in order for HBVGamer's first article (?) here at the 'Chair to get linked to Deadspin?
Check it out for yourselves: http://deadspin.com/sports/blogdome/air+o+dynamic-not-so-fast-buddy+ro-276039.php
I'm not sure if Dan sent Will (the editor for Deadspin) info on this site but perhaps it was a little unfortunate that a first-time effort receive such negative feedback from anonymous posters that frequent Deadspin. Will's site garners a huge audience with biting although quite often humorous commentary.
Perhaps an admin or Dan himself would like to write to Will and explain the purpose of this website. I'm not sure if Deadspin's audience got the correct first impression or not - that is not my job. However, I am fully aware that ArmchairGM is in full recruitment mode for new readers, posters and participants so this may or may not be relevant.
Perhaps someone can explain publically here how this effort has been operated to date. It just seems to me that the website has been inudated with one sentence (or less) "articles" for the only purpose of re-linking to other sports blogs along with an increase in anonymous trolls (yeah, yeah I am aware of the irony for ME of all people to bring that to light).
And to HBVGamer, do not take the Anonymous comments to heart. Edit features can be a little hard to figure out here at first (I asked for help initially) and perhaps you were not quite ready for this effort to "hit the newstand". No matter, your effort is acknowledged and appreciated here by the regulars. Don't let this one time experience discourage future contributions. And keep in mind that Deadspinners can be even more critical than Jay the Joke regulars (gasp!). :) Afterall, ranking NFL teams over the Internet can be hazardous with overzealous football fans!
