Lockerrroom:Beast Throws Me and Manny Stiles Under the Bus
Beast Throws Me and Manny Stiles Under the Bus (proper title)
This is response to "Beast" and his unjustified attack directs towards myself and Manny over a matter that had NOTHING to do with either of us.
I asked for proof and received none. So I did some digging. This is what I found. Think and judge for yourself before commenting.
FACT#1 Beast writes and participates for another blog. We all know that. It centers around the Green Bay Packers. The blog URL is: http://www.railbirdcentral.com/ No problem. The blog is actually a decent read which I have commended just a few days ago. Nice to see how compliments are returned. Continue reading.
FACT#2 On Saturday, July 7 2007, A fellow named Joe Davis posts the FOLLOWING on the blog. Take note that it completely rips apart HBVGAMER'S NFL PREVIEW which appeared here on ArmchairGM. The following appeared (in its entirety):
Saturday, July 07, 2007 Worst NFL Preview Ever: Ranks Packers 29th in NFL
I was reading a few things on the sports wikia site known as ArmchairGM, until I stumbled upon on NFL Off Season Power Ranking. The post written by Armchair user Hbvgamer, places the Packers 29th out of 32 NFL teams. How could they be so low?
According to Hbvgamer, "Farve needs to retire! He is doing nothing to help the Packers out. He has been steadily decreasing with every year. Last year he had 18 touchdowns and 18 interceptions with a 56% completion rate. Joey Harrington has a better completion percentage with 62.5! Donald Driver is getting all the passes as he is a dominant receiver, but the defenses have figured that out. Their number two receiver, Jennings, caught for less then half the yards then Driver. The running game is completely gone for the Packers, neither their HB's nor FB's have very, very little experience, if any. I hate to say it, but I think their defense may actually be better then their offense. Woodson had 8 interceptions last year and knows how to play the game at corner. Kampman also had 15.5 sacks last year which is almost a sack per game. Maybe when Farve retires, they will move up in the rankings."
I don't understand why people contiue to place the blame the offense for an average season in 2006. The offense was ninth in the NFL in total offense. While the defense was 25th in points allowed. What hurt the Packers's offense was not Brett Favre. It was a tight end and a power running game. The Packers were one of the league's worst teams in the red zone. That is what needs to be improved upon in 2007. Don't blame Favre. Labels: Aaron Kampman, Brett Favre, Donald Driver, Justin Harrell

FACT#3 2 comments appeared on this blog. The first comment tears apart HBVGAMER's prediction over the Packers' season. The second comment is in CONTEXT to the FIRST ONE.

You're doing a great job with the blog! Please keep it up.

yeah i wouldn't worry too much about anything that gets posted on ArmchairGM. There is a reason those guys are in armchairs. The site wasn't too bad at first, but unfortunately it quickly seemed to be dominated by ranting and clowns.
you're dead-on with the redzone issues. anyone watching the packers last year fairly regularly would agree with you. It was frustrating to watch.

CONCLUSION
Beast is MISCONSTRUING the very nature of this comment and is even a BIGGER negative influence on marketing ArmchairGM then ANYONE HERE. Beast condones and supports a blog that ATTACKS a FIRST TIME POSTER here at the 'Chair, then sees a negative comment and ATTRIBUTES THAT COMMENT TO OTHERS that had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CONNOTATION.
Rather than bitching about others conduct here, BEAST should have been defending ARMCHAIRGM against the author of that criticized HBVGAMER on his OWN damn blog. Of course that DID NOT happen and BEAST seized this opportunity to incite, antagonize and flame here at the 'Chair. All because his beloved Packers were torn apart on an OBJECTIVE column posted at a website he supposedly cherishes and defends. YEAH RIGHT.
Thanks to NOBODY for standing up for either myself or Manny, especially the all-too-damn eager to burn witches at the stake COREYISABOY.
Gentlemen, TRUE CHARACTER has been exposed here tonight.
