World Series Game 1 Open Thread

I did a simulation on Whatifsports, they like the Rays in 7 (Rays win it 10-2 after being down 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th before an 8 run explosion and then an Evan Longoria homer to finish it in the bottom of the 8th).


Everyone likes the Rays, we all love Philly losing something, I'm ready to have my annual "watch baseball for more than 6 innings" week.


Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are your commentators, and for that, I truly apologize.

I could continue with Manny's factoid sheet.....Phillies have never won a World Series against an AL East opponent , they've never won against a team with 3 names (Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox),


And yes:


They've never won a World Series against an opponent with a domed stadium.


Also, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers both won their titles on their very first try. History is against you Phillies fans. ;-)
