World Cup 2010 Qualifier - USA @ Mexico Live Blog
It's a big day for US and Mexican soccer as another round of World Cup qualification between these two rivals takes place at the famed Estadio Azteca in Mexico City in about 15 minutes time.
The US has never ever ever ever ever beaten Mexico in Mexico in their history no matter which stadium they played in. Is today the day they get their revenge after a 5-0 whipping in the Gold Cup Final?
Both sides are bringing their A-teams (unlike this recent Gold Cup), and it should be a really good match.

A US win should just about guarantees them a spot in next year's World Cup in South Africa. Actually a loss wouldn't kill them but it would make the journey a little bit more difficult.
Mexico would probably be finished in qualification if they fail to get at least 1 point (a draw) against the Americans. They have "must-win" mode coming into today's game.
