What's up with Kenji Johjima?

The cricketing equivalent of catchers, wicketkeepers play every day. But fair enough then... I don't expect any MLB player to be on 2 for 28 on the season! Even a catcher should be able to get to 7 for 28 or thereabouts. The point system makes it almost impossible to score negatively over a whole season.

a catcher batting .250 is pretty good atually, be happy with anything above .200 (Like the mets' schnieder batted .235, though he's seen as a defensive catcher... its only 10 games or so...so ask yourself, would you be more annoyed or less annoyed if this happened in june...or for that matter september...

Well, I expect his season average will be between those figures. So he could be in for a "hot streak" in the future. At least, he'd better!
