I said two weeks ago the Giants would win outright, and I now have the bank account to prove it. HUGE odds, Giants +14 plus the winning outright kicker. Suffice it to say my two week trip to New York and Connecticut this summer is already paid for, and I might be able to sqeeze in a short Disneyland trip to boot.
As Terry Bradshaw said in the post-game, it was the best Super Bowl game he's ever witnessed, and it was pretty close. The Giants defense played as well as any defense I'd seen, and, despite what was said all week, Brady was hampered somewhat by the ankle. Not to be used as an excuse, just a fact.
I spent about three hours at the NFL Experience yesterday and am considering an article sometime this week. If I decide to post it, that will be the only football related comment I make, because there is nothing left to say. The Patriots lost, the Dolphins record is safe for at least another year, and the best part?
Football is over, the Brady lovefest is over, and Armchair and the world are all better off....and...
