Time to put the Water Cooler into storage
I know I've been kinda inactive recently (I'm trying to avoid AGM bc it's a massive time suck and I have stuff that I'm busy with), but after discussing it with a couple other users, I think it's time to put the into the storage room. It was a good idea on my part, but given that I got confirmation from Wikia that in no time in the near future could we expect them to do any programming for us, I think it's time to accept the reality that the Water Cooler should go the way of the XFL (at least for now) for a couple reasons:
First, it's not really feasible given the fact that it's not integrated into the site. There's no navigation thing, and it has none of the neat skins/stuff that other pages have.
Second, not everyone is using it. There are discussions in the Lockerroom now that technically would belong in the Water Cooler.
Third, there's not enough content to warrant a separate category. My hope was that a specific section would kinda spur some discussion, but to no avail.
Anyways, I'm gonna close down the Water Cooler Monday or Tuesday unless someone has a compelling reason why not. This isn't meant to be a place for users to rant and bitch about how they called it all along, so don't make it into that. I just figured I'd post it first in case someone had some major objection.
Also, assuming we close the water cooler, do we want to move all the Water Cooler pages into the Lockerroom or leave them as is?
Many of you were right....we got persuaded and realized you WERE right. There is virtually little traffic on AGM to warrant anything like the Water Cooler.
