Team Apparel Question
First of all, thanks to everyone who sent me gifts after the Giants win. What an amazing game!
Now that football is over, its time to turn my attention to the great game of baseball. After Johan Santana was traded to the New York Mets, I found myself in a minor pickle. I drafted Johan in my keeper fantasy baseball league in 2004 and quickly (and obviously) became quite a fan. He helped my team win two titles. I loved watching him pitch on MLB.com over the past few years. In 2005 I picked up a Twins T-shirt jersey that I occasionally like to rock during the summer.
Most people know that I am a big Yankees fan. I ask the ArmchairGM community -- Should I retire this T-shirt jersey? Turns out Johan will be on my team again this year, and I am still a fan of him. While I don't hate the Mets, its easy to get sucked into the "rivalry" between New York's two teams because half of my closest friends are Mets fans.
I think my biggest concern is, if you saw me walking down the streets of NY with a Twins Johan shirt, would you think I was a Mets fan? I can't think of anything worse than people thinking I was a Mets fan.
