TWO Roy Williams on One Team!?!?!

Yes, that's right. Former Detroit Lions Wideout Roy Williams will head to Dallas. Safety Roy Williams already calls Dallas home.

I expect Williams to put up big numbers and hear even more complaining from Terrell Owens...Oh joy!

In other Dallas news: Adam Jones was suspended indefinitely by owner Jerry Jones. It's unclear whether he will play for Dallas after the suspension or not. But I believe Jerry will move on, depending on whether or not the corner backs play up to their potential while he's gone.

Guess not, Shefter is saying a 1st, 3rd and 6th...

I wonder if Detroit will then blow both their 1sts on Wide receivers?

Does Jerruh know Williams is an FA after this season?

I don't think Williams is overrated. If he can put up decent numbers in Detroit, I can't imagine what he'll do in Dallas. Yes, he only has one 1,000+ yard season in five seasons, but he's played in Detroit his whole career. He has great hands and his body size gives him an advantage over most CB's. Owens and Witten will still get more passes thrown their way, but when Wade Philips is in a passing situation inside the red zone, everyone will look toward Williams.

Williams is injury prone. He's played in some of the best passing offensive schemes used in the NFL this century. He's had a QB that's pretty damn good (look at Kitna's numbers, they're not bad) and he's been the featured WR... Let's not forget, his QB for the first month will be noodle armed Brad Johnson, plus he needs to learn the scheme in Dallas and then get acclaimed to Romo starting in November (its not like he can throw to him before)...

Roy Williams (safety) will fix this by tackling Roy Williams (WR) horse collar style as Dallas slowly sees their record hit .500.

Usually, on shirts, if you had two "Smith"s, you'd distinguish by using "R. Smith" and "C. Smith" for instance. There was once a problem for the Irish football team, who had Roy and Robbie Keane, so they were both "R. Keane". How does this work though? "R. (middle initial). Williams"?

They will both just be Williams. Different numbers, different sides of the ball, it's really not a problem. Although I did like the suggestion of a "UT Williams" and an "OU Williams".

There's way more to this than meets the eye.

Pacman, (a DB) gets suspended for a minimum of four games, your secondary is questionable with him in the lineup, and you trade three draft picks for an overrated, free agent wide receiver? And you lost a passing QB for four weeks and replaced him with a game control, (read: run game oriented) QB...and have a 34 year old WR who is one tick away from Bellevue who you signed to a four year deal, with 13 mil guaranteed?

Five bucks says the Cowboys cut both TO and Pacman before Thanksgiving.
