TV Sports Bias: NFL

I know that many people think that this channel is biased towards one team and so on. But for ESPN, FOX, CBS, NBC, and all of the other networks airing football, do you think there is any particular bias or favoritism towards a specific NFL team? Is there any bias at all? Pick the channel(s), and you state the NFL bias.

Note: We all know that the Pats are an unstoppable machine that is the talk of the country, so don't even bother including them.

For me:

ESPN: Carolina Panthers

FOX: Dallas Cowboys

Giants and Jets (I live in south/central Jersey so it makes sense)... I hate these teams with a passion... Their games are never interesting to me unless they are getting blow out by another team that is fun to watch...

I dont think their is a bias for an NFL team in any area. I live in DC, so on Fox I watch Skins games and on CBS I get Ravens coverage. When I lived in Cinci it was all Bengals and just no NFC football. Just the way it is.

I think the Ravens defence gets way to much credit on CBS. Ray Lewis hasn't been evective for at least 3-4 years.

its not really a network bias...its more about commentators and their own hatred...Troy Aikman isn't terribly biased at all...he actually seems to enjoy eagles games...

On the other hand, Chris Collinsworth and Merril Hoge seem to hate the eagles...sounds like sour grapes to me...

I gotta agree with BigP...its regional too...but they cater to big markets (giants) and good teams...

Unfortunately, I am a Steelers fan living in MD, so of course I think they are biased against the Steelers. But, when the Steelers and Ravens aren't playing at the same time (or are playing eachother), I do get to watch the Steelers play on CBS (and in some cases FOX).

Reminds me of a funny story...

So my godfather was raised on the PA/Ohio border...grew up a browns fan...

then he went to Pitt and lived through hell and went to law school in baltimore...circa the mid-90s...

and, I shit you not (as you know), the browns moved to baltimore and he was...well...confused and excited...its like god smiled on him...

I'm not sure how this falls into the rules...but i guess you can't complain...
