No. A "nuance" is a variation of a slight degree; "subtle" would be a particular measurement of that nuance... "Like" and "similar" but not "same"

I had a few drinks when I made the original post. I'm sure it made sense to me when I typed it. The title of the post was a lame reference to Curt Schilling commenting on the mystique and aura of the Yankees. He said Mystique and Aura sounded like names of strippers. Like Subtlety and Nuance. Nevermind. I'm not elitist, stupid or funny.
