Root for Armchair's Connection at the US Open

Kevin Silva, a 24 year old graduate of the University of North Carolina and a buddy of our own Sportsbrief, is playing in this week's US Open at Torrey Pines. Kevin advanced by winning his way through local and then sectional qualifying. This is his first career appearance in the Open. Silva is paired the first two days with Jay Choi and Bobby Collins and tees off on Thursday at 2:31 PST.

Thanks for putting this up Kelsdad. As I said on the US Open article, totally misinterpreted you. As for Kevin, he's a small kid but drives well over 300. Should be interesting to see if he can manage his game off the tee this weekend!
