Halftime in Houston and the Rockets are down 43-36 to the 24-40 Charlotte Bobcats. I'll be updating this thread as the game nears the end.

Update: Rockets 64 Bobcats 62 at the end of 3rd quarter.

This is going to be a pretty tough couple of plays for the Rockets. The Lakers, the #1 seed in the west, face them in a couple of days. Then, they face the Celtics... not only are they the best team in the NBA, but they have a 12 game winning streak.

Nope. Not true, Crack. The Jazz were the last team to beat the Rockets. It's so far back that you don't remember who the last team was.

They lost to the Celtics on the 2nd of January (the last time they faced the Rockets).

This is going to be a tough match up for the Rockets. I don't know they're going to be able to win this one.

Yeah, C's streak is over. I think they Rockets streak is coming to an end very soon though... if they don't lose to the Celtics, they still have to face some tough teams soon.

And I don't know if you guys know this now, but the Rockets are now 26-2 in their last 27 games, and 31-3 in their last 34 games. And if you think the Rockets are a fluke, and are just beating all of these weak teams, then I'd love to see what you think about the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers (yes, with LeBron James), the Denver Nuggets...
