The GM usually blames the coach when the team doesn't play well, I guess Riley got tired of blaming himself.

Never mind, Riley will stay as team president. I was thinking he was ready to leave the Heat and go back to coaching in the NBA.

They've already named their coach and I wouldn't be surprised if the Heat won the lottery and started out good if Riley wouldn't jump back on ship, thats why he named an assistant coach no one has ever heard of as the new coach.
