I Manny Stiles, Suns fan, Devil Rays Pseudo-Celebrity blogger, General Commentor on any of life's conditions and top Comment Guy on ArmchairGM, being of relatively unsound but mostly functional mind do hereby resign my assumed position as top commentor. Let another schmuck have it, It's not fun anymore. The City of Chicago has sucked the joy out of yet something else, Me.
It has been deemed neccessary that there are clearly people in the world with more important agendas than my platform of "having fun". I get caught up in the activity as I have many Stiles, not just Sports, I am a very well-rounded being and enjoy endless discussion on just about every topic. All aspects of Life is interesting to me. It is clear that my social and political commentary is not meant to be consummed by the ignorant masses but understood with clear and open minds. Since I already talk to those people in forums OUTSIDE of ArmchairGM, I will keep my "other" commentary to those alternate means. This is ArmchairGM afterall, not ArmchairPsycholgist.com, ChaiseLoungePhilosopher.com ... I apologize.
Therefore I shall no longer comment on things without a sports angle. It's just non-productive and it makes me set an example to others that don't have my qualifications.
My haphazard and sarcastic nature cannot withstand arguing with fools, whether they with I, or I with they... it's clear I'm not just arguing with myself this time... and you know the old saying about arguing with fools - don't do it no matter how much fun it is...
I have always fought in the ways that have suited me best and at times (such as today) I forget the ways that the Masters have bestowed upon me. For when it is times I wish to do something the most that I must do nothing at all.
I wanna still crush the trolls and bend them into productive members of Armchair but I have come to the point where I am questioning the benefit. Times change and maybe I don't need to convert every troll to a useful member. Maybe I'm just getting ol. I just know I don't enjoy it anymore. I don't do things I don't enjoy. I'd MUCH rather do nothing.
