Yeah, we can always save them for a specific day, like how the vocabulary thing started (you know, defining something and giving an example). People chose in advance what day they should do, and what they were going to do exactly.

Sure...first come, first serve basis...if you see someone has already posted one today, then write something else or sit there with ur thumb in ur butt

Especially when most of them have been ridiculously photoshopped crap. It's a lot more entertaining when it's a real pic.

I am cool with the Caption Contests. They tend to come in bunches. When the sports world picks up in a few more weeks, you will see them decrease again.

I think the pictures should be from a recent time period (say within the last 6 months?)

Some of us have seen the pictures you think are funny a dozen times or so before you decided to leech votes without doing any work (or properly crediting the rights owners).

Maybe we need more Dr Commento's Bizarro Caption Contests]

Why don't we make the Winning Caption worth some value, not points but keep a track of "Wins"...
