Rawbeezeitz here to take his licks

Well, most of AGM and the football fans in the country got their wish. The hated Patriots choked on the biggest stage in the game.

I could go on and on about the questions surrounding Brady's ankle and the possible effect it had on his inaccurate deep balls. But I won't, because even with this possible injury, the Patriots lost, the Giants won, and nothing can change that.

The G-Men played a hell of a game. Their defensive front was unbelievable. I've never seen Brady pressured so consistently and so brutally. They had an extremely difficult road to their Championship, and deserve to be honored for that.

The Pats choked, the Giants played great, it sucks, but folks (Pats fans and haters alike), we'll be back.

It's alright Rawb, its nice to see a little grounding...

Plus, we gotta start bring those jackass new yorkers down soon, what with Santana and Eli (come on, Eli manning...seriously?!)

So welcome to the club...losing sucks

You have nothing to be ashamed of. The Patriots gave it their all. They were outplayed by a team that refused to quit. 18-1 is a great record, but it's not the greatest of all time. Be proud that your team had an opportunity to play in a great game like this.

Only thing to be ashamed of is the coach walking off the field...

Yeah, nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, God hates bandwagon jumpers, not the Patriots; 18-1 was collateral damage.

Maybe it's still the heat of the moment, but I get the feeling that the Pats won't be back here for a long time. Seau is likely gone, Moss is thinking to himself, "they stopped throwing me the ball and we lost, hmmm do I really want to be here? It's not so sweet anymore," and Belichick just lost a lot of respect for the shit he pulled at the end of the game from Pats haters and fans alike. I know he doesn't have my 100% support anymore and he should get a lashing for that no matter how many SB rings he's got. Plus, there is now clearly a way to get through this "invincible" o-line. I just don't know... that could have been the most influential game in football history for any franchise.

They'll be a threat as long as Brady's still playing.

Seau? I doubt they'll miss the 39-year-old linebacker and the 4 sacks and 3 INT that he provided this season.

The most influential game in football history? How about the 1981 49ers-Cowboys NFC Championship Game (the Catch)?

Don't overreact. The Patriots will be contenders next year, even if they lose Moss and Seau. They have the 7th overall pick in the draft.

Personally, even with a bummed ankle, Brady was still crankin' them down field. It probably didn't help that he was sacked 5 times and dropped more than a couple of times as well. Either way, it was an amazing game.

Rawb, I had to do a thread like this elsewhere, man. It sucks! We will be back. If people though belichick was mean and nasty toward his opponents this year...oh my...next year will be down right evil. Pats didn't choke, the Giants earned this one, let their fans enjoy the moment away from Pats fans and Pats haters.

Every other head coach in the NFL that faced the Patriots properly stayed until the end of the game despite controversy over "running up the score".

And after the Patriots impending first loss for the season, Belichick bolts knowing damn well that there was one second left.

Mere formality perhaps to play off that one second but Belichick's rep takes another hit within the coaches fraternity.

Not that he gives a damn anyways.

Instead of rubbing it in, I will say this that I was looking for an excuse to say all morning. Tom Brady impressed the hell out of me. There were at least 5 hits that I didn't think he was going to get up from. Most notably, the hit where he was stripped of the ball and his shoulder flew forward while his arm was pinned. I couldn't believe he didn't separate his shoulder. But the Jay Alford hit at the end of the game was as hard as I have ever seen a QB get hit. And Brady just popped up like it was nothing. The Giants hit Brady hard and they hit him often, and while it clearly was the difference in the game, Brady just kept taking the shots. I gained a lot of respect for him.

Ya Alford's hit was more then a sack, he piledrived Brady into the turf. But I think if it's not the last minute of the Super Bowl, Brady gets up really slow.

No more winning to do and BB was still smug (and, no I'm not talking about running off the field, I'm talking about his post game interview). But, all in all, it was a great game and a great season from your Pats. Can't wait till next year.
