Pujols: Padre Killer??
If I was the San Diego Padres, I would be scared of Albert Pujols. Pujols hurt two Padres players in a span of about 5-10 minutes. He hit a liner right down the middle, and hit SD pitcher Chris Young square in the face. The ball broke Young's nose, and he was sent to the hospital. He had blood all over his jersey, and pants as he walked off the field.
As play resumed, Pujols managed to get around the bases. But, on a play at the plate, Pujols slid in to home, and sprained Josh Bard's ankle in the process. Bard is headed for the DL.
So, if I was a San Diego Padre, I would be shaking in my cleats right about now, and try my hardest to stay away from Pujols. He just might break your ankle, or maybe even your nose.
