There is no question that this Atlanta team has potential, but what they need is some more veterans on their team that can play on the road. This is too overwhelming a situation for them. When they play at home, they are far and away a better and a different team. They need a full season to play together and they need some veteran free agents. If they can play the way they play at home on the road, they can do damage.

Knicks are going to wait and see if Mike D'Antoni loses his job in Phoenix, he'd likely be at the top of their list, especially when you consider it looks like Rick Carlisle is on his way to Dallas.

Mike D'Antoni??? I don't think so. The Knicks don't have the type of players set up to work in D'Antoni's offense. Plus he is not a good defensive coach. I'd rather have Avery Johnson, but I also feel the Knicks needs a coach with a fresh start as well, because expectations might be heightened for a coach such as Avery and he might be given just a two-year window with the franchise and this media for a situation that might require 3 or 4 years to see some significant progress.

I tend to agree with you, Dre, my point is the Knicks are going with a name coach because they have no name players. You're not going to bring in some assistant or a college coach to take over a team that's already a train wreck, you need someone with experience and knowledge of how the NBA works and who can handle adversity for a couple years.
