One Year Ago... A mistake was made.
Today is the one year anniversary of the permanent ban of Tyrone Briggs.
I feel that he has more than served his time and deserves a fair chance to return to ArmchairGM.
I do realize that myself and he had some tiffs and dustups in the past but we have made our peace with one another and I know that he brings a value to a site like this forum/community. He's edgy, he's always well researched and he's a fiery debater. I know that reputations often precede people's true beings - BELIEVE ME, as I am one of those reputable beings - but I think it's time we give him a second chance.
We've been co-existing just fine on other websites for the past 10 months or more and we both laugh at the silliness that occurred here at AGM. We are men underneath all of our childishness and we have moved on - here's hoping all of you can too. There hasn't been any animosity and we both understand that we're two of the same kind, passionate individuals. Tyrone DESERVES to expand his conscientious and Chicago-oriented opinions especially in these days and times; with Obama as president, with Jay Mariotti relegated to "internet creature" status and n o longer printed in ink, with the Cubs and Bears so prevalent in the everyday news.
I am asking that we all join together in the movement and help get a member that is a true Armchair legend back. Open your hearts, open your minds and see that this community welcomes a brilliant, eloquent, driven, routinely hilarious and strongly opinionated sports mind. This site is better with him than without and you know it too.
- Note: This is intended JUST for Tyrone, not anyone else...
Thank you for your time.

I can't quite remember why Tyrone was banned in the first place. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Tryone Briggs was banned he threatened to end ArmchairGM, or something along those lines.
Can someone give me the truth about this subject? I'd like to know what he did exactly, because when he left, ArmchairGM's "drought" started...
Coincidence? Maybe... but I doubt it...
