Why has no one started this yet?!?!!? Game of the (18th) Century! Since we've debated the "Does Nd get a bowl bid with 2 wins?" to death, lets ask the other obvious question:

If Notre Dame has one of the toughest schedules in D-1A this year, how the hell good would it have been had they not sceduled Duke?

Shame Duke didn't play well, they have played several good teams fairly well, they are slowly improving. I am sure they were probally in awe playing at Notre Dame having not played there in these kids lifetime.

They were not in awe, it's called sucking, and both teams did it in the first half. That was some of the most spectacularly bad football I have seen in my 32 years on this planet. Notre Dame woke up with about 5 minutes left to play and realized that as bad as this season has been they could not lose to Duke, they just couldn't. Trust me, I actually watched this game well into the third quarter when it stopped being funny because one team actually decided to play american football. We think Duke may have been playing canadian football, but we may never know.
