Muhammad back with Carolina

The Carolina Panthers bring back WR Muhsin Muhammad, who was cut by the Bears earlier this offseason. Jake Delhomme now has two threats at wideout, and should be ready to roll come Training camp.

Apparently Carolina is quite confident in Delhomme's recovery. So confident that they released backup QB David Carr.

Finally have some threats? Delhomme has had threats for a while, there are a lot of other problems with the Panthers offense

I think releasing Carr speaks more to his inabilities as a QB then to the Panther's confidence in Delhomme.

Honestly I think Carr when he came out of Fresno State, was really good QB, but the trauma he suffered in Houston, has done him in. I think it would be best for him to retire or maybe try the CFL.
