I just took an anthropology course, and the prof's primary argument (and the argument of 90% of the stuff we read) says the primary criteria for men being sexually attracted to women is physical attractiveness. The primary criteria for women being sexually attracted to men is status (athletes, lawyers, doctors, etc.). My prof's book says these differences are based in evolution, and aren't culturally constructed. That's why sexy athlete articles don't make me angry. You're all (the guys) just guys being guys.
